We believe that God, the Creator of all things, the First and the Last, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob loves us, gave Himself for us, and still passionately pursues relationship with us.
We believe there is one God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are to love Him with all our heart, soul and strength.
Deuteronomy 6:4,5 | John 1:1,14
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was begotten, not created, very God of very God, truly God, truly Man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, as the Lamb of God died an atoning and redemptive death for the sins of the world, resurrected bodily after the third day and now reigns in glory until all things be put under His feet.
We believe that Jesus Himself will return to gather His bride to be with Him in a place that He has prepared for those who await His coming.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, giving a true record of God’s dealing with man, a true record of the heavens and earth, and a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding the destiny of man.
We believe the work of the Spirit is to change and conform us into His image.
Romans 8:29 | I Corinthians 15:49 | II Corinthians 3:18
We believe that the Lord has established pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets and apostles for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. Every child of God has a place of effectiveness and usefulness in the kingdom of God.
We believe that only through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus are we saved. Only by His grace and mercy are we cleansed and transformed into His image. It is not through our works that we find entrance into His kingdom. Salvation is not a point of arrival, but a continual process in our Christian life.
We believe that the experience of new birth as experienced in Acts chapter 2, remains as the living invitation to experience the fullness of Christ and His will and intention for our lives. Receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is a baptism of God’s spirit into our lives for the purpose of empowering us for sanctification and evangelism. The manifestations of this infilling are the new language phenomenon and a transformation into a lifestyle pleasing to God.
We believe the scriptural examples of baptism lead us to the immersion of the participant in water, buried in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins.
